Counterpart of an Assignment by Sir William Holcroft of Layton, Essex, knight and Sarah, his wife to Thomas Lee of Hartwell, Bucks., esquire, of the residue of a term of 21 years from the 25th March 1685 granted by the Governors of the Atherstone Grammar School in a cottage and several closes called Nether Fields (15 acres), the Flatt (9 acres), Brownes Croft (2 acres) and a parcel of meadow called the Blacke Polle lying in a meadow called Fishers Meadow containing one acre.
