Counterpart of a Release by Sir Thomas Lee of Hartwell, Bucks., baronet and Dame Alice, his wife ( the daughter and only child of Thomas Hopkins theretofore of London, merchant, deceased by Sarah his second wife, the widow of Sir William Holcroft theretofore of Layton, Essex, knight deceased) to Thomas Guy, citizen and stationer of London, of the Manor of Dosthill, also a capital messuage with divers closes etc. enjoyed therewith in Dosthill, Whately and Kingsbury, then or late in the tenure of Thomas Burdett, also a messuage and farme called Darkeridge Farm lying in Kingsbury and Nether Whitacre then or late in the tenure of Josiah Allen, together with all the hereditaments of the said Sir Thomas Lee and Dame Alice his wife in Dosthill, Whately, Kingsbury and Nether Whitacre to hold the said Thomas Guy and his heirs for ever.
