Description

Lease by the Right Honourable Francis, Lord Carrington, the Honourable John Carrington and Charles Carrington, esquire (brothers of the said Lord Carrington) to the Right Honourable Lord Marquesse of Powis and William, Lord Montgomery (son and heir apparent of the said Lord Marquess) of the Manor of Wootton Wawen with the capital mansion therein, also the Manor of Lucies alias Hanwells in Wooton aforesaid, also the Manor of Shottery in the Parish of Stratford-upon-Avon, and the water corne mills and fulling mills of the Lessors in Stratford-upon-Avon, also the Manor of Beaudesert and a capital messuage and farm called Whittlehall in Whitley, Henley-in-Arden and Wootton Wawen, also the Manor of Kyneton, and the messuages, lands and hereditaments of the Lessors in Preston Bagot, also the Hundred of Pathlowe and the advowsons of the Churches of Preston Bagot and Beaudesert, also the Manor of Honiley and Blackwells and the messuages, lands and hereditaments purchased by the said Lord Carrington of John Burgonie esquire, also the Manor, Rectory and advowsons of Ashby Folville in the County of Leicester and other hereditaments therein, also hereditaments in Barnesby, South Croxton and Newbold Foleville in the County of Leicester, and in Harrington and North South Kelsey in the County of Lincoln, for a term of three months at a rent of one peppercorn.
