Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Indenture between Sir Bartholomew Hales of Snitterfield, knight of one part, and Stephen Hales of Newland in the County and City of Coventry, esquire and Charles Hales, son and heir apparent of the said Stephen Hales and godson to the said Sir Bartholomew Hales, of the other part, whereby Sir Bartholomew Hales by virtue of a power reserved to him, revoked all uses declared in the Indenture dated 10th October 1605 subsequent to the Joynture to Dame Katherine, and covenanted with Stephen Hales and Charles Hales parties to these presents and their heirs etc. that the said fine mentioned should enure to the use of Bartholomew Hales and his heirs for ever (after the life interest of Dame Katherine).
