Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Exemplification of a Recovery suffered in Trinity Term 1763, in which George Mason of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, gentleman was Demandant, Robert Palmer of the same place, Tenant, and George William, Earl of Coventry, Vouchee who vouched over the Common Vouchees of the Manors of Snitterfield and Bearley with appurtenances and 20 messuages, 5 tofts, 2 dovehouses, 20 gardens, 1500 acres of land, 300 acres of meadow, 500 acres of pasture, 50 acres of wood, 400 acres of furze and heath and common of pasture for all cattle. View of Frankpledge and Goods and chattels of felons and fugitives and felons themselves with appurtenances also all tithes of the said Manors etc. Before Sir Charles Pratt and his Brethren Justices.
