Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 2nd March 1764 between Thomas Coventry of Serjeants Inn, Fleet Street, London, esquire of the 1st part, the Right Honourable George William, Earl of Coventry of the 2nd part and George James Williams of Albermarle Street in the Parish of St. James Westminster, Middlesex, esquire, Robert Palmer of Chancery Lane in the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, gentleman and Francis Plumtre of the Inner Temple, London, gentleman of the 3rd part. Reciting that the persons of the 3rd part had agreed with Thomas Coventry for the absolute purchase of the premises referred to in DR38/73, it was witnessed that in consideration of £17,342-16-6 paid by the persons of the 3rd part, and of £657-3-6 paid by the said earl of Coventry to Thomas Coventry, he the said Thomas Coventry conveyed the premises to the said persons of the 3rd part. Lease dated 1st March 1764 by Thomas Coventry to the persons above described as of the 3rd part for one year of the same property. Signed T. Coventry. Sealed and witnessed as in Release.
