Description

Indenture of Bargain and Sale (enrolled in Chancery) between the Honourable George William, Earl of Coventry of the 1st part, George Mason of the Parish of St. Andrew Holborn, Middlesex, gentleman of the 2nd part and Robert Palmer of the same place, esquire of the 3rd part whereby the Manors of Snitterfield and Bearley with appurtenances and all messuages, lands, hereditaments etc. of him George William Earl of Coventry together with all tithes etc. were conveyed to the use of Robert Palmer and his heirs in consideration of 10/-, to the intent that he should become tenant of the freehold in a Recovery to be suffered in the then Trinity Term, and George Mason the Demandant and George William, Earl Coventry, Vouchee, to the intent that all estates tail and remainders dependent or expedant of and in the Manors of and hereditaments above mentioned might be barred. And it was thereby declared between all the said parties that the Common Recovery to be suffered should enure to the use of George William Coventry and his heirs for ever. Signed: Coventry, Geo.
