Description
Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 25th February 1764 between the Right Honourable George William, Earl of Coventry of one part and Thomas Coventry of Serjeants Inn, Fleet Street, London, esquire of the other part whereby the Manors of Snitterfield and Bearley with appurtenances and other hereditaments being the same as those described or referred to in DR38/73 were conveyed by George William, Earl of Coventry to Thomas Coventry for £18,000. Signed: Coventry. Seal a shield being Coventry crest. Witnesses: George Mason and Henry Earle. Lease dated 24th February 1764 between the same parties for 1 year of the same property. Signed, sealed and witnessed as in Release.
