Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 16th March 1810 between William Bentham of Upper Gower Street, Middlesex esquire of one part and Thomas Graham of Lincoln's Inn of the other part whereby the Mortgage described in DR38/114-118 was transferred by William Bentham to Thomas Graham. Signed William Bentham. Seal, a man's head. Witnesses: Edward Alderson of 6, Lincoln's Inn. Endorsed upon the back of the said Lease and Release respectively are other Indentures of Lease and Release, dated the 11th 12th July 1810 between the same parties. Reciting that to remove any doubts that might be entertained of the validity of the Common recovery described in DR38/108 another such Recovery had been suffered of the property as of Trinity Term the last and by an Indenture dated 23rd June 1810 between the same parties it was declared that the Common Recovery etc. of all the property referred to in DR38/112-113 should enure to the use of William Bentham and his heirs subject to the proviso for redemption. It was witnessed that in pursuance of the said agreement and in consideration of 10/- to William Bentham paid by Thomas Graham the said Mortgage was transferred to Thomas Graham. Signed and sealed as before. Witnesses: Edmd. Wells Oldaker and Betaler Chernocke Smith of 6, Lincoln's Inn. Lease dated 15th March 1810 for one year by William Bentham to Thomas Graham of the same property. Signed: William Bentham. Sealed and witnessed as Release dated 16th March 1810. Endorsed upon the back by a Lease for one year dated 11th July 1810 between the same parties of the same property. Signed and sealed and witnessed as before.
