Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe
Description
Indenture dated 10th January 1739 between John Palmer of the Middle Temple, London, esquire and William Smith of Warwick, gentleman (eldest son and administrator 'cum testamento annexo' of Francis Smith of Warwick, gentleman deceased) whereby the property described in DR38/175 was further charged by way of Mortgage by John Palmer to William Smith for £700. Signed: John Palmer. Seal obliterated. Witnesses: James Wright and William Heaton. Extract from Registry of the Prerogative Court of Canterbury dated June 1738 of the Letters of Administration granted to William Smith (son and residuary Legatee of Francis Smith then late of Warwick) with Will annexed.
