Snitterfield Mollington deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Probate of the Will of Finetta Holbech of Warwick, spinster whereby she gave and devised to Robert Mallory of Woodcote in the Parish of Leek Wootton gentleman and Finetta his wife the property described in DR38/175 subject to a charge of £1000 in favour of her Testratrix niece Bridget Harvey and the payment of £10 yearly for 7 years after the Testratrix's death to her nephews William and Hugh Holbech, and to the Churchwardens of Mollington for distribution to the poor, and the Testatrix also charged the said estate with the payment of £100 in favour of Elizabeth Relph, daughter of Richard Relph of Chelfield, Kent to be paid with interest when the said Elizabeth Relph should attain the age of 14 years. Proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury 22nd August 1758 with a codicil. Witnesses: Isaac Twycross, William Twycross and Joshua Harborne.
