Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Probate of the Will of John Sneath of Snitterfield, shoemaker whereby he devised to his wife the property described in DR38/214 for life with remainder in Fee Simple to his brother Thomas Sneath. He also gave to Elizabeth Hillsman his sister another messuage in Snitterfield in the occupation of William Stanley and he also gave to Sarah Sneath his sister another cottage adjoining the last in Fee Simple. Signed by the Testator in the presence of Thomas Townsend, Joseph Hall and John Wilkes. Proved in the Consistory Court at Worcester 22nd July 1776 by Mary Sneath, widow of the deceased sole Executrix before the Reverend Richard Green D.D. Surrogate. Signed Richard Charles, Registrar. Seal impressed paper (Worcester Cathedral).
