Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Description

Indenture dated 30th October 1788 between John Mallory of Warwick, esquire (youngest son and devisee of Robert Mallory late of Woodcote, gentleman deceased) of the one part and Susannah Hannah Gaylord of Warwick, spinsters of the other part whereby the property described in DR 38/175 DR38/200 was further mortgaged by John Mallory to the Misses Gaylord for £600 upon the same security of a term of 1000 years. Signed: John Mallory, Susanna Gaylord and Hannah Gaylord. Seal. Witnesses: Jos. Seymour and John Bohum Smyth. Indenture dated 10th January 1791 (endorsed on the back of the 2nd membrane of the above Indenture) between Susannah and Hannah Gaylord of Warwick, spinsters of the 1st part, Isaac Hadwen of Liverpool, merchant of the 2nd part and Robert Benson of Liverpool, merchant and Joseph Seymour of Warwick, mealman of the 3rd part whereby Hannah Gaylord (in consideration of £700 paid to her by Susannah Gaylord and 5/- paid to her by the persons of the 3rd part) together with Susannah Gaylord in consideration of 5/- to her paid by the persons of the 3rd part conveyed the Mortgage of £1400 secured by the term of 1000 years in the property described in DR38/175 DR38/200 to the persons of the 3rd part upon trusts of the Marriage Settlement of Susannah Gaylord and Isaac Hadwen.
