Indenture dated 23rd March 1864 between Richard Smith of Snitterfield, gentleman of one part, the Reverend William Stephens of Wednesfield, Staffordshire, clerk and John Edward Bealey of Bloxwich, Staffordshire, gentleman of the other part whereby the Fee Simple in reversion in property referred to in DR38/221 was Mortgaged by Richard Smith the younger for £2500 to William Stephens and John Edward Bealey.
