Description

Gift from Henry de Hollenhale to William Archer son of Robert Archer of all that land in Taneworht which lies between the land of Richard del Stow and the land of William de Coddeberge and the land which Alexander Black (niger) held of William Archer, and on the other part all that land which lies between the road called Lutlegrovesheiswei and the land of William Archer from an oak which stands on the boundary to another oak and thence to Loncroftesyate; to hold the same rendering annually 6 pence (2 terms); and for this the said William Archer gives 5 shillings. Witnesses: Henry de la Lee, Ralph Brutun, Walter the clerk, Randolf 'palmerio', Henry de Coddeberge, Herbert Dolfin, John Archer, Roger de Romesulle and many others. Tag, seal lost.
