Snitterfield deeds: Phillips of Welcombe

Indenture dated 11th November 1808 between Samuel Allen of Bordesley in the Parish of Aston, Birmingham, gentleman, Lord of the Manor of Wolverton of the one part and Thomas Hiron of Snitterfield, gentleman of the other part whereby a chief rent of 10/- issuing out of lands described in DR38/255 DR38/256 together with 21 acres of Snitterfield Bushes belonging to Thomas Hiron was granted and released by Samuel Allen to Thomas Hiron for £15. Signed: Saml. Allen Seal: courtier's head. Witnesses: William Markin. Bill of Costs of Messrs. Greenway to Thomas Hiron and receipt together with 8 receipts for chief rent 1777-1782-1805-1808. These 21 acres were sold to Mark Philips in 1849 by the Trustees of the portions term limited by Thomas Wheatley Hiron for his daughters Elizabeth and Ann.
