Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 5th June 1827 between Thomas Hiron of Warwick, surgeon of one part and Charles Freeman of Hidcote, Gloucestershire, gentleman and William Handley of Barford, gentleman of the other part whereby the property described in DR38/255 DR38/256 (with additional descriptions, namely the house described as occupied by John Hillman has now become the Bell Inn. The ground adjoining the messuage and brick kiln in the occupation of Samuel Moore is described as being 3 acres, 2 roods and 8 perches. The windmill and house described in DR38/257 DR38/258 are further described as the windmill and messuage called the Windmill Inn or Halfway House. The 13 closes are described as 15 closes and their names given therein) was conveyed by Thomas Hiron in consideration of 10/- and subject to the life of Elizabeth Hiron to Charles Freeman and William Handley upon trust for the said Thomas Hiron for his life and after his death for £150 per annum jointure to Ann Hiron. Remainder for Wheatley Hiron second son of Thomas and Ann Hiron for his life remainder to the first and other sons of the said Wheatley Hiron successively in tail male remainder in trust for all the daughters of Wheatley Hiron as tenants in common in tail. Remainder in trust for Wheatley Hiron, second son of the said Thomas and Ann Hiron for life remainder in trust for the first and other sons of the said Thomas Wheatley Hiron in tail male. Remainder in trust for the daughters of Wheatley equally as tenants in common in tail with certain limitations over in default of such issue as therein particularly mentioned with an ultimate limitation to the right heirs of the said Thomas Hiron.
