Description

Gift with warranty from Simon le Archer of Toneworth' to William le Clerk' of Geydon' of two pieces of meadow in Toneworth', one of which is called Longemedewe and lies between the land of Reginald de Berkeswell' and a stream running towards the mill of Toneworth'; and the other is called Rudyngmedewe, and lies between the said stream and the land of John Broun; to hold the same of the chief of the lord of the fee. Witnesses: John de Lodbrok', John le Archer, Henry de Sydenhale, Robert de Crowenhal' the younger, William de Folwode, Richard att' Berne and others. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday after the feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul, 14 Edward III. Seal on tag, circular, white. Defaced but as in no. 552.
