Gift with warranty from Agnes, widow of John le Warner of Toneworth', to Dom Richard de Cok, chaplain, of a cottage with a curtilage in Toneworth' lying in breadth between the land of the said Agnes and the land of Thomas Dolfyn and in length between the land of the said Agnes and the highway leading from the home of Thomas Jeryn towards the church of Toneworth'; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service, Sealing clause. Dated at Toneworth', Saturday after the feast of St Gregory the Pope, 23 Edward III. Witnesses: Sir John de Lodbrok knt, John le Archer, Henry de Sydenhal', Robert Notesone, William de Creweleye and others. Circular seal of natural wax on tag, 3/4 in., badly cracked and disintergrating, a shield, Legend defaced.
