Description

Lease with warranty from Master William le Archer rector of the churchof Pilarton to William Dolfyn of Toneworth' of 15 acres of land which John le Archer held for life in Toneworth' extending in length between a lane leading from the church of Toneworth' towards Hokelowe and a lane leading from the said church towards the house of Henry sydenhale, and in width between the land of Simon le Archer and the land of Thomas Dolfyn; to hold the same for the life of the lessor, according to a certain writing made between them on ( super) which John le Archer of Toneworth', to whom the reversion of the said lands belonged after the death of the said Master William, leased the said lands to the said William Dolfyn, rendering annually 15 shillings ( 2 terms) ; and after the death of William Dolfyn the said property to revert to John Archer. Witnesses: Henry de Sydenhale, William de Folewode, Robert de Folewode, Thomas Geryn, Simon le Archer and others. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday after the feast of St Mark, 10 Edward III.
