Description

Gift from James Farmon of Henleye, chaplain, to John son of John atte Lee of Toneworth' and Margery his wife and their lawful or rightful heirs of all lands and tenements in Toneworth' which the grantor held by gift and feoffment of the said John, son of John atte Lee; to hold from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service; if it happens that there should be no lawful heirs of the said John and Margery, the same land to pass to their rightful heirs to hold in the same way for ever. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday after the feast of St Peter who is called Advincula, 33 Edward III. Witnesses: Thomas Larcher of Toneworth', Robert de Crowenhale of the same, Thomas de Hamstede of the same, Henry de Sydenhale of the same, William Pulter of Henleye, William Fishyde of the same, John Hemer' of the same, John Jobes of the same and others.
