Description

Lease for three lives with warranty from Thomas le Arch' of Toneworth' to Thomas de Folewode of the same, Joan his wife and John their son of two pieces of land in toneworth': one extending in length from the highway leading from the court-house [curia] of Toneworth' towards the hosue of Henry de Sydenhale on the one hand as far as the land which Richard Aleyn and Simon le ? Reuesone held on the other and in breadth between the land which the said Simon owns on the one hand and the highway leading from Boeleie as far as Notehurst on the other; the other piece of land extending in length from the land which Walter Austyn holds of the grantor as far as the wood of the earl of Warwyke and in breadth between the land of the grantor on the one hand and the land which Thomas de Folewode holds of the grantor on the other; to hold without any loss or waste for the term of their lives paying to the said Thomas le Arch' 2 shillings and 10 pence annual rent [ 2 terms] Dated at Toneworth', Palm Sunday 26 Edward III.
