Description

Gift from Richard Lyndesey and Richard Walton, chaplains, to Thomas atte Berne, John Creweley, John Waryng', Thomas Colyns, William Waryng', John Deusy of Toneworth', 4 shillings annual rent [ 2 terms] upon the death of Henry de Vlnehal' and Joan his wife for ever from two fields and a pool called Huytyngwig' in Toneworth', lying in length between land lately belonging to Simon Hondies and the grove called Willyngesgrove and in breadth between the land of William Derley on the one hand and the highway on the other, as defined by its boundaries; the said grantees to have the right of distraint if the said rent were unpaid or in arrears beyong two weeks of any of the said terms. Dated at Toneworth', Sunday before the feast of St Thomas the Apostle, 9 Richard II. Witnesses: Thomas Larcher, John de Fullewode, John Dolfyn, Thomas Notesone, John Yelschagh' and others.
