Tanworth, Ullenhall deeds: Archer of Tanworth

Description

Right hand indenture of a fine levied at York, in easter Term 12 Edward III, between William son of Richard de Folewode of Toneworth' and Margaret his wife, plaintiffs, and Master Richard de Staneweye, parson of the church of Weston super Avene, deforciant, of three messuages, two and one third carucates, twenty acres of meadow, forty acres of wood and 45s 10 1/2 d in rents in Toneworth' and Notehurst. The plaintiffs recognise the land to be the right of the said Master Richard ( except 8 acres) for which the said Master Richard grants them the property back to be held of the chief of the lord of the fee; also the reversion of three acres held by Henry atte Bache and Alice his wife for life and of five acres held by Henry le Zeel and Juliana his wife in Toneworth'; and should the said William die without issue then the land to remain to William son of Robert de Folewode and Joan his wife.
