Lease and release by conveyance for the consideration of £93 to Samuel Tant and £143 to Sarah Smith between Samuel Tantof Stratford upon Avon, haberdasher of hatts and Elizabeth his wife on the first part and Sarah Smith of Tenbury, Worcestershire, spinster on the second part and Nathaniel Mason of Stratford upon Avon on the third part. Property: Close in Old Stratford between the lands of William , gentleman, deceased and now in the occupation of William Challoner, gentleman on the north and south parts and on the east part by lane by the river Avon and on the west part by lands of William Morrell now in the posession of the said Samuel Tant, also three newly erected cottages adjoining eat of the said close in the occupations of John Tomlins, Widow Franklin, Widow Edden and Thomas hawkins and barn with three bays on the east side of the said close. Note: Nathaniel Mason has agreed with Samuel Tant to purchase the inheritance of the said premises and has undertaken to pay the said Sarah Smith the sum due on the mortgage.
