Gift with warranty from John Wodard of Thoneworth' the elder to Simon Hervy of Berkeswelle and Petronilla his wife of a piece of land in Hutyng Wyngh' in Thoneworth' with all appurtenances, lying in length between the land of Walter de Carewe and the highway leading from the church of Thoneworth' towards the house of Robert de Folewod', and in width between the land which Simon le Revesone and Thomas Tone hold and the land of Walter de Morcote and John son of the said John Wodard; to hold the same of the chief lord of the fee for due and customary service and rendering also to the grantor during his lifetime 2 shillings annually (2 terms). Witnesses: Robert de Sydenhale, Robert de Folewode, William de Belne, Robert de Crowenhale, Richard Aleyn and others. Dated at Thoneworth', Wednesday next after the feast of the translation of St Thomas the Martyr, 4 Edward II. Seal on tag, circular in natural wax, armorial.
