Description

Quitclaim and release from John le Archer of Thoneworth' to William le Archer his uncle of all actions of waste, destruction and transgression which might arise from a tenement which the said William holds of him in Thoneworth'; which tenement he has returned to him in as good a condition as when he received it. John also grants free administration of his [William's] goods growing there with easement to the houses until the quindene of Michaelmas next. Dated at Thoneworth', Saturday next after the feast of St Ambrose 8 Edward II. Seal on tongue shield-shaped in natural wax. Tie below. Endorsed: Quyttanse, Tonworth Latin, parchment, 81/2 x 23/4 ins.
