Indenture dated 11th July 1854 between Thomas Prentice of Snitterfield of the 1st part, William Scruby of the same place grocer of the 2nd part and William Scruby the younger of Stratford-upon-Avon carpenter of the 3rd part whereby the property described in DR 38/599 then in the occupation of Thomas Prentice, eldest brother and heir at law of John Prentice who was the eldest son of Zachariah Prentice the younger was conveyed by the said Thomas Prentice to William Scruby the elder for £50.
