Indenture dated 7th February 1879 between Richard Smith of Kenilworth (but then temporarily residing at Honfleur, France) of the first part, William Crowther Umbers of Wolverhampton, Staffordshire gentleman of the second part and Joseph Slater of Snitterfield, farmer and John Lane of Stratford-upon-Avon, gentleman of the third part, whereby Richard Smith as heir at law of Henry Smith conveyed to Joseph Slater the property described in DR38/568 for £60.
