Description

Indenture dated 21st January 1879 between William Goode of Snitterfield yeoman of the 1st part, Joseph Slater of Snitterfield farmer of the 2nd part and John Lane of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the 3rd part whereby the property described in DR 38/559 together with a cottage then erected upon it was conveyed by William Goode to Joseph Slater in consideration of £91 together with adjoining property then formerly in the occupation of Thomas Loach and then of William Goode bounded on the South East by the Public Street called The Green and bounded on all the other sides by property formerly belonging to Henry Smith deceased but then to Robert Needham Philips.
