Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 7th November 1776 between Henry Smith of Snitterfield, gentleman and Edward Baker of Milverton, yeoman (Devisees in trust of the property described in DR38/239 in the Will of William Nicholls) of one part and Francis Richardson of Warwick, blacksmith of the other part whereby the property described in DR38/238 was conveyed by Henry Smith and Edward Baker to Francis Richardson for £290 (subject to the annuity of £24 payable thereout to Thomas Nicholls). Signed: Henry Smith and Edward Baker. Seal obliterated. Witnesses: Richard Dyott and John Woodcock. Lease dated 6th November 1776 by Henry Smith and Edward Baker to Francis Richardson of the same property for one year. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
