Snitterfield

Description

Indenture dated 6th June 1856 between William Allcock of Snitterfield, labourer of the firt part, William Scruby of Snitterfield, grocer of the second part and William Scruby the younger of Snitterfield, carpenter of the third part whereby the property described in DR38/607-608 as a newly erected messuage (the cottage adjoining having been sold to Mr. Charles Archer) and then formerly in the occupation of William Allcock, were conveyed by William Allcock to William Scruby the elder for £70. Signed by the mark of William Allcock and by William Scruby. Seal: letter H. Witnesses: John Lane solicitor and Thomas Reeves Hobbins, both of Stratford-upon-Avon. See also ER3/3886.
