Indenture dated 28th January 1890 between Thomas Lees of Barford butcher, George Facer tailor, William Pearson grocer, both of Stratford-upon-Avon and Isaac Talliss of Norton Lindsey builder of the 1st part, the Reverend James Foster of Stratford-upon-Avon, Superintendent Minister of the Stratford-upon-Avon Circuit of the 2nd part and Robert Needham Philips esquire of Welcombe of the 3rd part whereby the property described in DR 38/637 was conveyed by the persons of the 1st 2nd parts to Robert Needham Philips for £60. Signed Thomas Lees, George Facer, William Pearson, Isaac Talliss and James Foster. Small wax seal, a Tudor rose. Witnessed by Stanley Charles Warden, articled clerk to John Charles Warden solicitor, 9, Guild Street, Stratford-upon-Avon.
