Description
Indenture dated 29th June 1882 between George Currall of Leamington Priors tailor and Isabella his wife of one part and John Slater of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the other part whereby a cottage in Snitterfield formerly in the tenure of Thomas Loach bounded on the South by premises then in the occupation of Thomas Allibond, on the West by premises then in the occupation of Richard Smith, on the North by premises then in the occupation of John King and on the East by the Public Street, secondly a cottage then in the occupation of John Roberts, thirdly a newly built messuage and garden then in the occupation of William Buckingham and fourthly a newly built cottage etc. then formerly in the occupation of William Allcock were mortgaged by George Currall and Isabella his wife (Devisee in fee simple in remainder of her grandfather William Scruby, then tenant in fee simple in possession) to John Slater for £100. Signed George Currall and Isabella Currall. Common stamp seal. Witnessed by Thomas Slatter solicitor Stratford-upon-Avon. Office Copy Certificate of Acknowledgement by Isabella Currall of her Deed (being a married woman) made 29th June 1882 before Thomas Slatter and Edward Wright Commissioners.
