Attested copy Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated the 28th October 1772 between Thomas Webb of Sherbourne esquire (only son and heir of the body of Elias Webb late of Sherbourne esquire deceased who was the oldest son of Thomas Webb the elder late of Sherbourne esquire also deceased by Sarah his wife also deceased which Sarah was a daughter of William Wood late of Wolston, Warwickshire gentleman also deceased) of the 1st part, John Adams of Chancery Lane, Middlesex gentleman of the 2nd part and Matthew Wilcox of Brandon, Warwickshire gentleman of the 3rd part whereby the property described in DR 38/361 together with property in the Parishes of Ryton, Wolston, Norton Lindsey, Aston Cantlow, Kenilworth and Sherbourne more particularly described therein was conveyed to John Adams to the intent that he might be Tenant in fee simple to the end that a Common Recovery might be suffered thereof to the use of Thomas Webb and his heirs subject to the Mortgage for £500.
