Description

Attested copy Indenture dated 10th July 1809 between Christian Wilcox of Brandon in the Parish of Wolston spinster of the 1st part, Elias Webb of Sherbourne clerk gentleman of the 2nd part and Thomas Wilcox of Claverdon gentleman and Matthew Walford Wilcox of Brandon gentleman of the 3rd part whereby Christian Wilcox assigned and conveyed to the persons of the 3rd part (being Trustees of the Marriage Settlement and Matthew Walford Wilcox being her brother) a legacy of £1000 with accrued interest charged upon land at Stretton-on-Dunsmore together with £2615 3% Reduced Bank Annuities and £714 5% Navy Bank Annuities upon trust to pay the income to Elias Webb for life, remainder to Christian Wilcox for life (if she survived). Remainder to children of the marriage in equal shares (except the eldest son). Power given to Elias Webb and Christian Wilcox to vary the commitments during their lives or life of the survivor.
