Description

Gift with warranty from John Grene of Baddesley to John Grene of Toneworthe, son of the said John, and Alice his wife of one croft on Toneworthe lying in breadth between the land of Thomas Sidenhale on the one hand and the land of John Aston' on the other and extending as far as the lane called Cauelone, which croft the grantor purchased from Thomas Hankokus; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Dated at Toneworth, Sunday before the feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 23 Henry VI.
