Gift with warranty from Richard Archer esquire and John Boteler to Robert Griswolde, vicar of the church of Toneworth' and Richard Lyne, chaplain, of all lands, tenements, rents, reversions and services which the grantors held jointly with Simon Birches by gift and feoffment of John atte Lee of Henley in Ardern in Toneworth'; to hold for ever from the chief lords of the fee for due and customary service. Witnesses: Thomas Sidenhale of Toneworth', John Fullewode and William Benford' of the same and many others. 1, Circular seal of red wax on tag, 3/4 in., on a shield three barbed arrows pointing downwards, the shield being surrounded by three sprigs of foliage. 2, Circular seal of red wax on tag, 1/2 in., the letter I crowned, between two sprigs of foliage.
