Description

Grant from Richard Archer esquire to John atte Wode of the county of Wogorn' of the wardship of Thomas, son and heir of Thomas Gowere, gentleman, deceased, which Thomas Gowere the elder held certain messuages, lands, tenements in Toneworth' in chief from the said Richard for military service and other services; to hold from the time of the death of the said Thomas Gowere the elder until the said Thomas the younger reached his majority; the said John also to have the marriage of the said Thomas the younger, rendering annually to the said Richard all rents and services formerly accustomed to be paid during the lifetime of the said Thomas the elder.
