Description

Indenture dated 20th May 1848 between Thomas Roberts of Snitterfield labourer of the 1st part, James Hitchcox of Barford miller of the 2nd part and William Allen of Warwick gentleman of the 3rd part whereby a cottage then for many years in the occupation of Thomas Roberts together with garden etc. containing 82 square yards, 6 square feet and 6 square inches (part of the property described in DR 38/705) more particularly described on a plan thereon endorsed, on which piece of ground James Hitchcox was then about to erect some other premises, together with the wall on the East side of the said garden ground were conveyed by Thomas Roberts to James Hitchcox for £12. Signed Thomas Roberts, James Hitchcox and William Allen. Red wax seal with capital letters W. R. thereon. Witnessed by John Hobbins and John Allen, clerk to the said William Allen.
