Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 28th November 1789 between John Reason the younger of Shottery yeoman (only son and heir apparent of John Reason the elder late of Fulbrooke Park and then of Stratford-upon-Avon yeoman) of one part and William Drakesford of Bedworth gentleman and William reader of Middle Temple, London esquire (a Trustee for William Drakesford) of the other part whereby the premises in Claverdon described in DR 38/750 were conveyed by John Reason to William Drakesford and William Reader nevertheless as to the estate of William Reader in trust for William Drakesford in consideration of £209 paid to John Reason by William Drakesford and in consideration of 10/- paid to John Reason by William Reader. Signed John Reason. Seal a stag's head. Witnessed by Thomas Smith and Thomas Howlette, clerks to Mr. Hunt. Lease dated 27th November 1789 for one year by John Reason to William Drakesford and William Reader (Trustee for William Drakesford). Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
