Description

Indenture between Thomas Powers of Claverdon ropemaker and Elizabeth his wife of the 1st part, Christopher Musgrove of Leamington Priors esquire of the 2nd part and William Oakes Hunt of Stratford-upon-Avon gentleman of the 3rd part whereby Thomas Powers and Elizabeth his wife conveyed to Christopher Musgrove two cottages, one of which was occupied by Thomas Powers as a residence, the other as a warehouse and shop by him also six pieces of garden ground adjoining the cottages called the Big Garden and Orchard, Well Yard, Bell Broughton, Little Garden, the Pleck Garden and the Ropewalk Garden, all in the occupation of Thomas Powers containing together 1 acre and 37 perches situate in Claverdon more particularly delineated in a plan attached (William Oakes Hunt being a trustee to preserve contingent remainders).
