Indenture between the Right Honourable John, Earl of Shrewsbury and George Fortescue Turvill of Husband's Bosworth, Leicestershire esquire of the 1st part, the Right Honourable Joseph Thaddeus, Lord Dormer, Baron Dormer of Wenge, Buckinghamshire of the 2nd part, Christopher Musgrove of Leamington Priors esquire of the 3rd part and the Reverend Archer Clive of Solihull clerk George Clive late of Paper Buildings in the Middle Temple, Middlesex but then of Saunderstead House, Croydon, Surrey esquire of the 4th part whereby John, Earl of Shrewsbury and George Fortescue Turvill, Trustees for Joseph Thaddeus, Lord Dormer in consideration of £1200 conveyed to Archer George Clive four parcels of land (then recently 5 parcels) in Claverdon then late in the occupation of Thomas Ivens containing 35 acres, 3 roods and 39 perches, together with a piece of garden ground adjoining then in the occupation of Edward Barlow, also a garden lying near the wood called Foxhole Coppice belonging to Christopher Musgrove then in the tenure of Elizabeth Heydon in the Parish of Claverdon and Budbrooke.
