Indenture between Darwin Galton of Claverdon Leys esquire of one part and Robert Needham Philips of Welcombe esquire M. P. reciting that Darwin Galton as Lord of the Manor of Claverdon was entitled to waste lands between the lands of Robert Needham Philips and the highway, it was witnessed that Darwin Galton in consideration of £14 paid to him by Robert Needham Philips conveyed to him all three pieces of land then lying between any lands then belonging to Robert Needham Philips and 15 feet from the highway.
