Description

Agreement between the Earl of Shrewsbury of one part and Thomas Canning of Norton Lindsey farmer of the other part whereby the Earl of Shrewsbury agreed to sell to Thomas Canning a cottage and 2 gardens containing 15 poles, bounded on all sides except the East by the land of Thomas canning and on the East side by the road from Norton Lindsey to Snitterfield then in the occupation of Richard Roberts and William Haycock for £42. Signed Shrewsbury and G. Fortescue Turvill. Also attached a Receipt, for £42, given by the Vendors and signed as before
