Description

Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 28th February 1784 between Thomas Heming of Norton Lindsey labourer and Joseph Heming of Preston Baggott labourer, eldest son and heir at law of the said Thomas Heming by Ann his late wife deceased (who was the surviving daughter and heir at law of Joseph Harrison late of Claverdon labourer deceased) of one part and Henry Phillips of Claverdon cordwainer of the other part whereby the premises described in DR 38/872 together with a messuage and appurtenances then in the occupation of the said Thomas Heming were conveyed by the said Thomas and Joseph Heming to Henry Phillips for £15. Signed by the mark of Thomas Heming and by Joseph Heming. Red wax seal, man leaning on an anchor. Witnessed by W. James and Samuel Bayliss. Lease dated 27th February 1784 for one year by Thomas and Joseph Heming to Henry Phillips of the same property. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
