Description

Will of Thomas Pacey of Norton Lindsey shoemaker whereby the Testator devised his 3 cottages and gardens in Norton Lindsey then in the occupations of Thomas Barrett, Richard Hadland and Thomas Prue to the use of the said Thomas Barrett and Testator's nephew James Pacey of Norton Lindsey shoemaker and their heirs upon trust to pay rents to Sarah Barrett and Thomas Pacey Barrett, the two children of Thomas Barrett in equal shares until 21 years and thereafter upon trust for the said Sarah and Thomas Pacey Barrett as tenants in common, and he devised his 2 other cottages in Norton Lindsey in the occupations of William Walter and Thomas Newman to the said Thomas Barrett and James Pacey as tenants in common and he bequeathed all the residue of his real and personal estate to his nephew James Pacey and appointed Thomas Barrett and James Pacey his Executors. Witnessed by Thomas Snape, solicitor, Warwick and Mark Blakeman, his clerk.
