Description

See DR 38/991 Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 20th July 1754 between Charles Wheler of Warwick esquire of the 1st part, Stephen Nason of Wolverton clerk and Ann his wife of the 2nd part and John Crompton of Gainsborough, Lincolnshire esquire of the 3rd part reciting DR 38/942, it was thereby witnessed that in consideration of £1224 to Charles Wheler and of £571 to Stephen Nason paid by , he the said Charles Wheler (at the direction of Stephen Nason and Ann his wife) conveyed the premises referred to in DR 38/942 to John Crompton and his heirs for ever. Covenant by Stephen Nason that he and his wife would levy a Fine to the use of John Crompton upon the said premises. Signed Charles Wheler, Stephen Nason and Ann Nason. Seal, a classical head. Witnessed by H. Beardsley and Joseph Carter. Lease dated 19th July 1754 for one year of the same premises by Charles Wheler and Stephen Nason to John Crompton. Signed, sealed and witnessed as before.
