Description

Attested Copies of Indentures of Lease and Release, the Release dated 21st June 1750 between Thomas Walford of Wolverton gentleman (eldest son and heir of John Walford then late of Wolverton gentleman deceased by Frances his wife, who before her marriage was Frances Seymour, and also grandchild and heir of Sturch Walford) of the 1st part, Thomas Strickland of the Parish of St. Andrew, Holbourn, London gentleman of the 2nd part and William Tibbatts of Birmingham baker of the 3rd part whereby in consideration of 5/- to Thomas Walford paid by Thomas Strickland and her barring all estates tail etc. in hereditaments described in DR 38/952 and for settling the same to the uses thereinafter expressed, the said Thomas Walford conveyed to Thomas Strickland and his heirs all the premises described in DR 38/952 situate in the Parish of Wolverton to the interest that he should be tenant to the Precipe for suffering a Common Recovery upon the premises, such Recovery to enure to the use of Thomas Walford and his heirs for ever. Witnessed by Thomas Fisher and Robert Powell. Attested 16th April 1807 by Thomas Heydon and Abram King. Lease dated 20th June 1750 for one year of the same property by Thomas Walford to Thomas Strickland. Witnessed and attested as before.
