Wolverton Whichford

Description

Copy Will of John Walford of Southam gentleman whereby he devised to his son Hugh Walford and his heirs for ever, his lands called Blacon then divided into several closes, and all that meadow called Long Hay and other hereditaments in the Common Fields of Wolverton then in the occupation of Samuel Cox upon condition in that if the Testator's son Thomas Walford should pay to Hugh Walford the sum of £20 per annum during his life the said hereditaments should remain over to the said Thomas Walford and his heirs for ever, and he charged his hereditaments at Whichford (see DR 38/952) with the payment of his debts etc. and he bequeathed all his personal estate to his sons Thomas Hugh Walford and to his daughter Clarke to be equally divided amongst them and appointed his son Thomas Walford his sole Executor.
